Usually the cops keep order, but other times they are too lazy to stop any kind of inappropriate conduct. The trains leaving NYC to get home are so spread out at night that you have to plan your departure from the bars accordingly. 12:19, 1:19, 3:19 or 5:19.... that leaves plenty of time for people to pass the fuck out due to the amounts of alcohol they put their livers through.
