Need shirts printed?

We are offering a special right now for custom printed shirts! You supply the artwork and we will print anything you want. Our press is set up to print any design up to 4 colors and we can print on any printable material you can think of. We offer more then just tshirts. Canvas belts, hoodies, windbreakers and messenger bags can all be done as well. Right now we are offering a special of $3.50 per shirt with a 24 piece minimum. You aren't going to find a price cheaper unless they are using shitty tshirts with bad quality inks. Anyone who has bought a Manmade shirt in the past 10 years knows of our quality. You dont make the decade mark printing crap. Email us at manmadethreads@gmail.com if you are interested in getting some work done. We also offer a one week turnaround, so you wont be sittin around waiting for your local print shop to finish a 1,000 piece lacrosse team order ahead of yours just because their job is worth more loot. Hit us up!

No Luck!

Filming with Jake. Photo: Terra

Well, no luck is an understatement on how our trip up to film with Jake Seeley went. We had a great time hangin and shootin the shit, but we got kicked out of almost every spot we tried to hit up. Jake had quite a long list of places he wanted to get footage from but we were kicked out before I could even get the camera out of my bag. People are wising up to what we actually do and once they see a camera and a dude on a bike they can put 2 and 2 together and get the drift. We did get some stuff done, but will have to go back and test our luck again on some spots to get the clips. At one particular spot we got the boot on wed. and went back again on thurs. to see if we had some better luck..... no dice.... within 3 mins of being there the lady from the day prior rolls up and says "dont you guys learn your lesson?"... I turned on the charm and convinced the lady that we drove all the way from nyc to albany for this one clip and she needs to let us film. She buckled pretty quick when she realized Jake was the only one riding and he was using plastic pegs that wont ruin her pretty rail. When she asked "whats the purpose of this?"... I said "hes gotta get to the end of the rail".... she yelled up at him "you cant even get halfway!". It was pretty humorous. Some other old heads came through to watch but got bored pretty quick. One older fella said "oh man, hes gonna lose his fuckin nuts doin' that kinda shit... excuse my language". I asked another guy how his day was ... he said "I'm walkin, its a good day". So even though we got the clear from our new lady friend Jakes bike had some technical difficulties so we had to give it a wrap for that day. As we were leaving an undercover cop rolls up to get the scoop on our mission. Not only did he roll up like we robbed a store he had a tattoo on his forearm of a cartoonish looking beer mug. We ran into another clown while trying to get a clip at an uprail spot that you might remember from another popular bmx video. Jake took a couple of test runs and this suit dude rolls over and says "dont you know you aren't supposed to be dong that?!?". Not a cop, not a security guard, just some local dick trying to be a hero. This rails been rode before, any possible damage has been done and Jake riding it wasn't going to change this dudes life or the condition of the rail. Granted, we aren't supposed to be doing it.... but have someone with authority come by and do their jobs. He said "do it again and I am calling the cops"... as he SAT DOWN on the rail until we left. Fuckin' ridiculous. Anyway, that about sums it up. No doubt in my mind Jake will get the footie eventually and they clips are gonna be sweet. Just sucks that things get in the way, but street riding is getting harder these days. Terra was on hand to snap the photos and got a few good shots, so look for that and more in an upcoming issue of Ride UK. At least I had an awesome burrito at this joint in Albany called Bombers and met a few cuties along the way.

old manmade dvd part

I just found this on youtube. Im not really sure who uploaded it, but I'm glad they did. This was a mix section of the flow and team dudes. Some goodies in here. Give it a look. P.S. The dvd still comes free with every order.

Rode a lil with Steve Muller, Mike Rappaport and his boy Evander aka Kevin this past weekend. Evander got a nice Mike Tyson sized gash on the back of his ear that nearly ripped the freakin thing off. Gotta step up to the plate if you wanna ride the dirt hills junior. Bring the A game next time buddy... and get some freakin brakes if you are gonna ride them trails! Thats Steve spinnin' the bees on his backyard ramp park.

Jake has an interview over at bmxunion. He talks about some stuff and throws out some Manmade shout outs. Myself and Long Island photo boy Keith Mathew Terra are goin up to Jakes area tomorrow to shoot some photos and film some clips for his Manmade part. Word of a Frank Macchio appearance for the trip is in the works. Def some updates about that when we get home.

I was goin through some old paperwork today tossin' out some un-needed crap and came across these 2 oldies. The first is some kind of points system that someone made up.... most likely for a roadtrip. Since the back had a tally and none of the names were maked its a good assumption that non of the dudes involved got any tail. The second is what is left of my old manmade tour van. I bought the thing with 2 days notice before a trip for $1200. I got two nyc to florida trips out of it (props megatour and a team trip down to the ugp roots contest) and used it as my daily driver for about two years. The thing was a champ, but the time came to put her down and I ended up making back $286.00 from some huge recycling place on long island. It was rough watching a forklift drive into the side of her immediately after I signed on the dotted line. They pay depending on weight, so it was a great idea to throw in an old stove and fridge in the back that my landlord was getting rid of. The place never opened the doors to check out the inside so I prob made an extra few bucks.

Here is a pic Nendza sent of him and a lady at the EndSerch premiere. Tony Ennis/Josh Harrington made the video and if youve seen any of the last projects you know this one is a banger. "Ryan and Joshs parts are fucking insane"-Nendza. Go pick it up. I am sure Dans Comp, Empire, Staff... yada yada will have it in stock.

Josh Nendza has some trails goin in the Greenville, NC area. Him and his bros broke grown about a year ago and are comin up on their second season. Hopefully all this April rain will give them some good conditions to put up some new jumps. Josh says he will have some pics and footie soon so check back in a week or so. Who says trails are dead? Get a shovel!
