Some dude on Long Island got this done at Timmys Tattoo in Huntington. Im not sure who he is, but this is prob the best version I've seen yet. I think theres about 10 people around the world now that have this tattoo. This was the inspiration behind bringing back the Fallen Angel shirt. Saw this on Lillys MS and threw some filters on it. Thats him jumping his KX250F over a 70ish (I'm guessing) or so foot double. I never saw him ride it in person but if he whips that machine like his bmx bike I am sure its a treat to watch. STYLE. BRAAAAP!

It wouldnt be our style to come out with the new line on time. I keep designing and that keeps pushing back the release date. I am sure none of you are going to lose sleep over it... I dont want to trickle out a shirt here and there. Instead the drop will happen once I complete the design side. Stay tuned. Shouldnt be much longer.

Fallen Angel V.2 .... This design is without a doubt the most popular in our 10 year run. A ton of these are floating around the world with over 1,000 sold through Dans Comp alone. At least 8 people that I know of have this tattooed on their bodies and it seems that since I stopped printing them it is still the most asked about design. Why not re-release them? This version is printed larger (15 inches across instead of the old 8)... 2 color (red and off-white) and printed on a super soft garment instead of the older rougher Fruit Of The Loom t's. Oldie but goodie for sure. This along with all the other new t's, hoodies, long sleeves AND fitted hats will be dropping on Monday November 17th.

After all the love that edit got from the other day (scroll down if you didn't see it yet) I got a second wind to bang out some new shirts. I am psyched that people are still into what I do. CBGB's was a live music club on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. I am sure you have seen countless people wear the shirts "CBGB OMFUG"... although half those tool boxes have never even been to the venue. Unfortunately after a long run they closed the doors in October 2006. TONS of bands got their start at CB's and I am sure some can thank their careers for the place. The Ramones being prob the biggest had their first few shows on the CB's stage. I went to only a handful of shows at CB's but the small quarters always gave an intimate feel with you and the band. You were always up close and in the middle of action. I saw Unearth there for the first time and it was a show I will never forget. Growing up in Bayside/Douglaston/Little Neck area most of my friends were in local bands. They also had shows there... usually on a mid weekday and we were a few of the only people in the place. The big draw bands would usually play on other nights, but we were just psyched that they were playing on the stage where past legends plugged in.

CB's is now home to clothing designer John Varvato. If $3,999 jackets and $200 3/4 sleeve tshirts are up your alley head on in for some purchases. If you are like me you can treat the place as a shrine to what it once was. Even though its a huge shame the no one stepped up to keep CB's around whoever designed the store did a good job.

They paid attention to detail keeping parts of the walls preserved behind glass. The walls used to be completely covered in stickers and flyers for future shows. Layers upon layers of paper and plastic covered every inch of the place and its a nice touch to keep some of it still up. Luckily one of the areas they decided to keep has a Manmade sticker behind the glass. As long as this store is in business the memory of CB's will still be around. Lots of band memorabilia and photos are on the display making it almost like a mini museum. I recommend checking it out if you are in the area.

We all know what the riders in this video are capable of.... dont take this vid very serious. I put it together for fun since I've been inside under the weather the past multiple days. I went through most of my old tapes and figured I may as well put something together instead of wasting the footie.

Its got some manmade riders along with some friends of ours. The quality should be a whole lot better, but I am new to this Mac editing software, Ive always been a PC boy. Most of the footie is old, but it has a fun feel and I figured I would put something together for you guys. Personally I am just psyched to have a John Lee clip in there.... that very trick (which I requested he did for my camera) won a dirt jumping contest in the Cranberry World BMX regional jumping contest. That was back before the NBL banned jumping contests because of all the rowdyness that would ensue. I'd figure that was about 1997 or something. Enjoy.

4am in penn station is not the place you wanna be when your train doesnt show up till 5:19. Or, actually it might be the place you wanna be. You see some funny stuff in Penn Station. Usually the cops keep order, but other times they are too lazy to stop any kind of inappropriate conduct. The trains leaving NYC to get home are so spread out at night that you have to plan your departure from the bars accordingly. 12:19, 1:19, 3:19 or 5:19.... that leaves plenty of time for people to pass the fuck out due to the amounts of alcohol they put their livers through. Search LIRR in youtube. LIRR DRUNKS, LIRR FIGHTS.... plenty of stuff should come up. These 2 victims of the snooze were found last night... and it was a Tuesday. You gotta see this place on a Saturday night or holiday.

The 248 rail

Long before I had any thoughts of sliding down a rail on my own I helped some local rollerbladers cut off the knob that was welded down the middle of this gem. That was prob 1994 and I finally got the courage to go down it in 2000. I borrowed my dads hacksaw and we went to town on the thing till it was ready to go. I doubt any of them did the rail... it was just something for us to do at the time. One local rollerblader made it on the Ringling Bro's circus but the rest of them would just boot around the curbs inside the park. George K along with anyone else from this area used this as their first rail. It has a downhill run up so you can just cruise to the thing and its prob the lowest rail youll find on real street. Its about mid bar and 9 steps. Ive prob seen at least 30 people ride this rail... but George K def holds the record for the most amount of moves actually pulled. Feeble, Switch Feeble, Manual, Crook, Smith, Nose Bonk to Icepick... yada yada yada.. The first time George did the rail was right after Christmas time... it was when all the houses on the block were throwing out their christmas trees for the garbage pick up. He collected like 5 trees and put them at the bottom of the rail for some extra padding. Threw on his brain bucket and slid down the thing. That was the start of rails for George and I'm sure you've seen him ride plenty more in videos and magazines over the years. Frank Macchio's X-up Crooked it (props scene report), Sean Buggy Over Iced it (Manmade Chapter 2), Dave King Toothpicked it, Keith Terra (when he had pegs) even double pegged it haha.... the rails got some miles but unfortnatley has been capped again by the NYC parks dept. I guess it'll take the next wave of riders around here to man up and put some arm work in to chop the thing off so its rideable again. Oh yea... some kid on long island slid down it after staring at it for about an hour. All it took was the threat that I would delete him from my myspace friends... he went right for it. 2nd try, pulled clean. I never thought that could be a driving force in someones life till that day.

Some people will do anything for those scrumptious little burgers. Last night we witnessed a dude passed out in his car blocking the drive thru lane. Not only did he completely pass the microphone area where you actually place your order he got around almost to the window where youd pick up your food and decide that was a good spot to catch some shut eye. Car running, window open, car in drive, foot on the brake... snooring. The people behind him were pissed... with my own addiction to the crave I dont know what Id do if I was stuck behind someone knowing that my order is ready only 20 feet away. He was obviously drunk so when the coppers finally showed up it was inevitable that he would be locked up. I guess enough crime happens at white castles around the country that they actually have 24 hour eyes in the sky. Not even 5 mins into this situation some dude starts talking over a microphone hooked up to the cameras. I guess they have a security hub somewhere that watches out for situations such as this. "hey, hey, you in the black car... wake up!". Pretty funny.... but lets you know.... Dont fuck around in White Castle. You are being watched.

Dont knock it till you try it. Despite the name, this has nothing to do with smoking. Hashing... its a drinking club with a running problem. I ran with these guys last week and it was an awesome time. Think of a running scavenger hunt around nyc with the destination being a bar. At the end you all party and fuel your liver with some tasty beer.
